Job Overview:
Rectorseal is currently seeking an experienced operation professional to supervise our Tejon Ranch California facility. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for a high volume, order fulfillment distribution center. The role will help support all functions to ensure timely accurate product receipt, product allocation and storage, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes.
Responsible for supervising the flow of all finished goods manufactured and purchased product, customer shipments (Domestic and International), inter-warehouse shipments, and maintaining control of all inventory on-site. Supervises employees in support of storage and shipping functions, equipment/facility maintenance, and warehouse sanitation.
Must Develop and Drive processes to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, ensure that all employees follow applicable safety controls: Company, OSHA, DOT, and Hazmat regulations and power industrial equipment requirements.

The Shipping Warehouse Manager will provide leadership to our group to ensure the output is delivered safely, productively, and on time in accordance with our customer-focused core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the output, productivity, and quality in the operation
Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, overall good material handling practices, and safety standards
Responsible for plant safety metrics and implementation of permanent corrective actions
Employee development of the workforce
Measure operations performance metrics against target KPI goals and targets
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for all operations disciplines (Lean/5S, Safety, Quality, Productivity, etc.)
Develop a team culture of empowerment, proactive collaborative and individual problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer focus
Resource planning and manage staffing levels to match demand forecast
Coordination of labor assignments for production and shipping targets
Work closely with employees to communicate and educate on work instructions, policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure that shipments are completed in full compliance with all applicable requirements, documentation, packaging, invoicing, etc
Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
Utilization of JD Edwards (Oracle) ERP system to manage the business
Maintain collaborative relationships with organizational leaders of other functions
Preferred E xperience:
Education: Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or sufficient work experience in operations management is preferred.
Experience with JD Edwards (Oracle) ERP system
Experience with large distribution operations
Experience with intermodal logistics
Experience with international freight brokerage
Experience with chemical batching and packaging
Required Experience
Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience managing or direct supervision of a manufacturing/shipping operation
Communication: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to carry out and/or deliver detailed instructions (bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
Professional Skills: Basic computing using MS Office products; Project management and effective time management and prioritization; Effective at leading teams towards a timebound set of goals and deliverables; Ability to lead a training session and/or provide 1:1 coaching and development; Excellent interpersonal skills; Excellent cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Must be able to work legally in the U.S. and work in the Tejon Ranch, California area
Work Environment:
Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation:
RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The target salary range for this exempt opportunity is: $75,000 - $85,000.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
