ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receipt of products into the Covington facilityRouting of products to designated areas (Incoming, Sterilization, Ship to Stock) via the HighJump Inventory Management systemVerification of receiving paperwork into the system in a timely and accurate manner.Tally product receipts into the Incoming Quality ControlReceiving of products into the JDE system via IBM Data CollectionMaintains the files and monthly receipts by vendor on inventory related transactions.Verifies and reconciles inventory receipts.Proofreads work for accuracy and forwards to proper departments for processing. (Works closely with accounts payable and numerous departments that depend on accurate, timely paperwork.)Investigates and corrects receiving discrepancies.Unloads, logs, separates, tags and delivers packages.Stacks packages on skids.Other duties that may be assigned.

Good written and verbal skills.Good organizational skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple duties simultaneously.Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills.Knowledge of JDE and IBM Data CollectionKnowledge of the HighJump Inventory Management systemRequires the use of a Forklift (Stand-up, Reach, Deck loader)10-Key skills preferredATTENTION TO DETAILS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education, GED or equivalent work experience.2+ years of Forklift Experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Requires excellent communication between multiple departments and divisions as supported at the Covington Facility.Basic English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have good use of basic mathematical skills for processing the receiving paperwork.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must be a self-starter.Position requires good logic and reasoning ability.Ability to define problems and find logical solutions.Must evaluate and resolve daily issues by exercising sound judgement.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms and lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of building.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
During the performance, may be in hot and humid locations, near moving mechanical parts, high places, risk of electrical shock, work with explosive gas, toxic and caustic chemicals, or experience loud noise (maintenance shop, forklift equipment, and construction).Additionally, must be able to work with minimal supervision.
