The role includes responsibilities in shipping, receiving, handling, and inventory stockroom management. Examine, verify accuracy, and process shipping documents, manifests, invoices, and bills of lading.
Utilize UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager, and other carriers' manifest systems.
Correspond with customer shipping notification systems and export brokers as required.
Process applicable export shipments via AES.
Prepare individual labels and package items according to work instructions.
Attach postage or create and attach bills of lading.
Maintain records of goods shipped and fill out reports on shipment shortages and damaged materials.
