About CNC Machinist - 2nd shift - 4 day work week!

  We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist with at least 2 years of experience to work the 2nd shift at a world renowned medical device company in O'Fallon, MO!

  Shift: 2nd shift, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM (Monday thru Thursday)

  Pay: $20-$23 per hour depending on experience

  Key Responsibilities:

  Set-up and operate conventional, special purpose, and computerized numeric control (CNC) machines to fabricate and repair metallic and non-metallic parts.

  Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machine and set-up requirements.

  Set-up and prepare includes set up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.

  Operator level maintenance of machine and set up documents.

  Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, to ensure specifications are met

  Follow written work instructions and engine manual instructions.

  Maintain a clean work environment.

  Basic Qualifications:

  2 years of machining experience/training to include set-up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.

  Previous experience/training reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine machining and set-up requirements.

  US Citizenship required

  HS Diploma or equivalent

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Technical trade school degree in machining preferred.

  2+ years of machining experience with medical devices

  3 axis horizontal or vertical milling experience

  Experience with VTL, lathes, and T-lathes
