OVERVIEW: The Warehouse Assistant I is an overtime-eligible positionthat reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and or the Materials Manager.The position is responsible for storing and distributing material,tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracyand timeliness both physically and within the current software system.DUTIES: Maintaining accurate inventory lots, serial numbers,quantities, and locations of products within the system. Maintainfinished goods in the cold room & warehouse (this includes first infirst out and monitoring expiration dates). Supply special customeritems from finished goods to shipping dept. Perform cycle counts oninventory items in the warehouse & cold room. Move material and itemsfrom receiving or storage areas. Sort and place material or items onracks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence, such assize or item code. Label materials and pallets with identifyinginformation using appropriate methods (e.g., item number, quantity, lotnumber, dates, and quarantine). Organize the warehouse and ensureaccessibility for CSI team members by consolidating items as much aspossible. Stock and maintain the in-house refrigerator with approvedstandards & buffers daily. Stock and maintain the in-house nonperishablesupplies for lab use daily. Assist in kitting items and completingappropriate functions in the system. REQUIREMENTS: High schooldiploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience. 0-2 years\'experience in a Warehouse role. Excel and Word knowledge. Ability toadd, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Must have avalid driver\'s license. Travel is required between three (3)facilities. Must be able to work during required hours of 8:00am until5:00 pm unless scheduled overtime by Warehouse Supervisor. Goodcommunication skills. English speaking. Preferred: Minimum one (1) yearof prior warehouse experience. Forklift experience. Inventory softwareknowledge (Syteline, MRP, or ERP systems). Physical Requirements: Lift50 pounds frequently. Able to occasionally move about inside thewarehouse as well as the facility. Able to remain stationary for anextended length of time. Operate computers and other office equipment.Push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items with additional manpower orappropriate devices. Traverse about the facility, carry and climbladders, work from heights, crawl under equipment and have the dexterityto work with trade tools.
