  About the position:

  In addition tocore strengthsinPersonalSystems,Printing, andCollaboration,HP isadvancingitscapabilities as a solution provider. Building on a strong heritage insolutions such asmanaged print services,managed device services,and managed collaboration services, HP isnow expanding into a broader set of solutions to address the future of work.Oursolutionsportfoliois growing as our customers ask for guidance on how they can enable their workforce with AI, transform their workspacein the hybrid work era, and redefine IT management to drive world-class employee experiences.We are collaborating with leadingsoftware and servicespartnersto providea comprehensive portfolio of compellingsolutions to our enterprise, mid-market,andSMBcustomers.While we have a direct sales motion, HP’s core strength lies in its channel partnerships.

  TheVPof Solutions will leadaglobalteamresponsible foroverseeingourportfolio ofsolutions.They will grow and evolve teams focused on thefuture oftheworkforce, workspace, and IT management,addressingimportant issuessuch as the growth of AI,the move to hybrid work, and sustainability in IT.This leader will drive the strategy,innovation,and execution of oursolutions portfoliowhile also focusing ontransforminga global organization of talented, motivated people supporting the growthobjectivesofHP’sPersonal Systems, Printing, andWorkforce Solutionsbusiness units.

  Thisleader willbe responsible forthe definition, delivery, and overall P&L oftheSolutionsportfolio, collaborating with peers leading Professional Services, Managed Services,Channel Go-to-Market and Direct Go-to-Market.They will develop end-to-end solutions including hardware, software,services, and supplies from both HP and third parties.They will own the vision, roadmap, architecture, partnerships, enablement, and P&L operations to ensure that they can deliver on a growth P&L.

  Experience in the IT solutions industry isrequiredfor this role.The ideal candidatealsohasexperience inagrowth-oriented enterpriseorganizationtransformingand growingitsSolutionsbusinessunit.This candidateshouldhavedirectexperience inmoving froma product-centric business model to a solution-centric model that focuses onaddressing C-level customer pain points in a B2B environment.This leader should be focused not only ondeveloping solutions, but on running a global P&L andidentifyingwhen, where, and how to engage with the country and market leaders around the world to drive performance.Thesuccessful leadermustbeanalytical, results-oriented, self-driven,willing to work with ambiguity,andhave a “can-do” attitude. The candidate must have a proventrackrecordofbothdefining avisionfor the Solutions portfolioandexecuting on that visionglobally. The candidate should also be excellent at nurturing cross-organization relationships toaccomplishgoalsand transforming an existing team, not just building a new one. Executive presentation skills are a significant part of the role. A passionateand energizedchange management individualis required tohelp assess, recommend, evangelize, and implement best industry standards.Experience in thefuture of workand end-user solutions areais a plus.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Leadership and Management: As the leader of theSolutions portfolioorganization,they willberesponsible forsetting the overall strategic direction forourfuture ofwork portfolioand ensuring that it is aligned with the company's goals andobjectives. They must also provide strong leadership and management to the team of professionals working under them.

  CustomerRelationship Management: TheVPofSolutions willhave key interactions withcustomers at the C-suite levelto understand their pain points, share our thought leadership and solutions portfolio, andsupport ongoing customer success.Thiswillinvolve working closely with sales and business development teams toidentifynew opportunitiesand expand ourscopeinexisting customers.

  SolutionManagement: TheVPofSolutionsis responsible forthe full lifecycle of Solution Management fromdeveloping thought leadership toenvisioning the portfolio,establishingkey partnerships for solution components,developing architecture, and enabling solutions for sales, professional services, and managed services.These solutions may vary by Market.

  Resource Management: TheVPofSolutionsis responsible formanaging theorganization’sresources, including people, technology, and processes. They must ensure that the team has the necessary skills and tools todevelophigh-qualitysolutionsforcustomers.

  Performance Management: TheVPofSolutionsis responsible forsetting performance goals for the team and monitoring progress against those goals. They mustprovideregular feedback and coaching to team members and ensure thattheir team membershavethe necessary training and development opportunities.

  Risk Management: TheVPofSolutionsis responsible foridentifyingand mitigating risks associated withsolutions coming from HP and third parties. This may involve working with legal and compliance teams to ensure thatsolutionscomply withapplicable laws and regulations.

  Continuous Improvement: TheVPofSolutionsis responsible foridentifyingareas for improvement in thebusiness’sprocesses, systems, and services. They must work closely with otherfunctionalorganizationsto implement improvements and drive overall business performance.

  Experience:

  Bachelor’s degreeor demonstrable equivalentin information systems/technology,computer science,engineeringorbusinessdegree.Masters’ degree or demonstrable equivalentpreferred.

  Typically,10+ years ofseniormanagement experience, including leading global teams.

  5+years of leadership experience managing aglobalteam of50 or morepeople.

  Adeep understanding ofITsolutionsindustry, including trends, challenges, and opportunitiesforsolutions that span hardware, software, services, and supplies.This leadershould also haveexperience working with partners and an ecosystem of solution suppliers.

  Experience in product and portfolio management,developing a vision for the portfolio and delivering a roadmap of solutions that brings the vision to life.

  Experience in delivering high-qualitysolutionsto clients. This includesproviding architecture guidelines, configuration support, and risk managementplans to ensure that solutions, once delivered, can stay running for years to come.

  Experience leading a large organization to achieve today’s goals while simultaneously transforming it for the future.

  Astrong understanding of business principles, including finance, marketing, and strategy. They should be able to align the services provided with the overall businessobjectivesand ensure that the department isoperatingefficiently and profitably.

  Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team, manage resources effectively, and provide clear direction and guidance.

  Experience in sales and business development, includingidentifyingnew opportunities and upselling existing services. They should also have strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and partners.

  Experience withProduct, Services, and Software businessmodels.

  Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

  Demonstrated ability to implement best practices and make effective processimprovements.

  Exceptionally strong executive presence, excellentcommunication skills,and ability to be concise in sharing information with executive audiences.

  Ideally has gained experience working and living in multiplegeographies, interacting with leaders fromdifferent culturesand industries.

  Experience interacting with executive level partners both internally and externally, including the C-suite executives.

  Knowledge/Skills:

  Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems,identifyopportunities, and develop effective solutions.

  Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on-time and within budget.

  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and lead aglobalteam ofexperienced product managers.

  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.

  Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a strong customer-centric mindset.

  Excellent Management of Change capabilities.

  Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills.

  Simultaneously managed multiple initiatives on current business as well as future strategy.
