Title: VP of Finance and Operations

Location: San Francisco Bay Area

Salary: $150k-200k base + bonus

About the Company: The establishment is a venture capital entity established by seasoned founders who have led prosperous businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise relationships with external auditor, tax advisors, and fund administrator.

Oversee fund administration tasks, including fund accounting, tax, portfolio valuation, portfolio monitoring and budgeting, financial reporting, investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions.

Assist with new fund launches, fundraising efforts, and ongoing investor requests.

Track incoming portfolio company updates and suggest valuation changes accordingly.

Conduct minimal HR tasks, such as onboarding/offboarding team members, ensuring compliance, conducting semi-annual reviews, and managing benefits during open enrollment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

5+ years of fund finance experience, preferably in private equity or venture capital.

Proficiency in spreadsheets and experience with Airtable is a plus.

Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate within a diverse team.

A growth mindset with a flexible and proactive attitude.
