Robert Half is offering a long-term contract employment opportunity with one of our clients for a Legal Billing Specialist in Louisville, Colorado. As a Legal Billing Specialist, you will be expected to manage various aspects of legal billing, maintain customer records, and resolve any inquiries. This role involves the use of various legal software and demands a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute attorney billing edits, finalization, and posting of invoices using legal billing software.

• Maintain customer credit records with precision and accuracy.

• Process customer credit applications in an efficient manner.

• Ensure the proper functioning of billing processes and systems.

• Utilize legal software like Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for various tasks.

• Assist customers with their queries and issues related to billing.

• Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

• Handle calendar management and claim administration tasks.

• Use Case Management Software and Clio for efficient and effective legal billing.

• Perform various accounting and bookkeeping duties as per established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Billing Specialist or in a similar role

• Legal billing experience using Clio is required

• Proficiency in using Aderant software for legal billing and management

• Demonstrable skills in using Adobe Acrobat for document creation and editing

• Knowledge and experience in using Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Familiarity with various Case Management Software

• Proven experience in using legal software for diverse legal tasks

• Ability to effectively assist customers and address their queries

• Experience in auditing processes and procedures

• Capable of performing various billing functions accurately and efficiently

• Proficiency in calendar management for scheduling and task organization

• Experience in claim administration and management

• Extensive experience in legal billing procedures and best practices.
