  Role Overview:

  As the Vice President, Controller reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the Global Accounting organization to include execution of the overall accounting function, maintaining accurate and complete fiscal records, establishing, and maintaining appropriate controls and procedures, financial system infrastructure, and preparing internal and external financial reporting for the organization in compliance with the company’s reporting requirements and operating procedures.

  You willidentifyways tooptimizecurrent business operations while keeping perspective on the market and strategic businessobjectives. You willbe responsible fororganizational planning and business processes in alignment with other functions toidentifypriorities and will develop and execute on operating plans. You are energized by the pace of a fast-growing company, and able to define scalable data-driven processes while going beyond the data to help operationally drive results. Effectively lead the Global Accounting team, driving strategic transformation initiatives across the entire organization, operation, and infrastructure to improve overall performance andmaintainworld-class governance, compliance, and controls.

  Organization includes US GAAP and Statutory general ledger accounting and shared services (accounts payable, payroll and internal/external reporting).

  Responsibilities:

  Provide effective direction, leadership, and oversight for the global accounting team.

  Partner with finance, supply chain, procurement, and information technology to drive process improvements, best practices, and overalloptimalbusiness performance.

  Oversee production, consolidation, and review of monthlyconsolidatedresults, including monthly reporting packages supporting the corporate earnings process.

  Manage and meet reporting filing deadlines for filing obligations for multiple stakeholders.

  Oversee activities for controls, preparation of audit schedules and serve as primary business partner for our external auditors and audit committee.

  Provide support to ownership organizations throughtimelycommunication, collaboration, relationship building, and delivery of quality work productsin a timely manner. Support corporate development for M&A related activities such as evaluation, diligence, and integration of target opportunities. Serve as trusted business partner for execution of the company’s strategic planobjectives.

  Provide direct leadership and oversight of the company’s ERP solution (NetSuite)

  Leadership and talent development for the continued transformation of the Global Accounting team to include effective talent management, succession planning and rotational opportunities across the global organization and other functional business partners.

  About you:

  You are an experienced finance leader who has worked in SaaS and/or software, technology industries.

  Thrive in a dynamic high-growth environment, have excellent communication skills and a strongtrack recordof driving results through cross-functional collaboration

  Have strong leaderships skills with an ability to articulate how you organize, hire and coach team members to success

  Love tackling complex problems and developing and implementing data-driven solutions and have strong listening skills that enable you to understand the "why" and get to what matters quickly.

  Have strong analytical ability and can glean insights from unstructured data which you can turn into action plans - you go beyond recommendations to execute and drive results

  Understand practices, theories,technologiesand policies involved in accounting management,businessand finance.

  Have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail andare able tothink strategically to tackle open-ended problems

  Are intellectually curious, have a desire to learn and an eagerness to dive intonew problems, domains,toolsand techniques.

  Qualifications and Competencies:

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting. MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.

  5 years at Controller levelrequired.

  Significant experiencewith international corporate accounting and tax practices in the commercial software industryrequired.

  Mustpossessadvanced accounting management capabilities gained through 15+ years of hands-on and leadership success, including at least 10 years of people management.

  Operational leadership experience in a senior financial/accounting management rolerequired. Leadership and talent development of a multi-national, diverse organization preferred.

  Significant understanding of accounting theory, practices, and regulationsrequired.

  Experience with GAAP, IFRS and revenue recognitionin a commercial software businessrequired.

  Multi-dimensional MIS and ERP systems knowledge -demonstratedability toleveragethese systems to improve efficiencyrequired. Implementation and optimization experience preferred.

  Demonstrated senior level experience and training in the areas of internal controls, financial statements, cash flow management, budget development and knowledge of GAAPrequired.
