　　The Role

　　Join our team as a Marketing Communications Intern. In this role, you will be an active member of STERIS Life Sciences and gain hands-on, real-world experience by supporting the Marketing Communications team.

　　We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated intern to provide support in the transition of existing website content to a new website platform by utilizing an efficient process that involves cataloging, processing and tracking reviews and approval – along with additional marketing communications responsibilities.

　　Key Internship Information:

　　Paid Internship

　　Target start date is May 20th, 2024 and end date is August 9th, 2024

　　Full-Time (40 hours) - This is a full-time internship Monday-Friday

　　Location - This is a hybrid role and requires interns to work weekly at our Mentor, Ohio facility

　　What You Will Do

　　Assist with cataloging existing marketing assets.

　　Using a prepared rubric, write first draft-conversion of website content to a new format.

　　Identify content gaps for the team and research potential information, images and videos that can be produced to fill the gaps.

　　Develop content for marketing emails, LinkedIn posts and other materials.

　　Develop content for internal communications.

　　Assist with content development for Customer events (webinars, seminars, trade shows)

　　Track content assets (written, graphic, video) in the team’s project management tool.

　　Facilitate content assets within the team for review and approval.

　　Facilitate content assets to external stakeholders for review and approval.

　　Update the team’s project management tool and report progress.

　　Conduct market research.

　　What You Need To Be Successful

　　EDUCATION: Completion of sophomore level coursework by May 2024. Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism major with promotional writing skills.

　　Writing samples and/or portfolio will be required.

　　Exceptional writing skills.

　　Computer skills, including experience with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.

　　Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

　　Experience with social media (content development, analytics, etc.) is a plus.

　　Exceptional verbal and written communications skills required.

　　Solid organizational skills, good judgment, and ability to think analytically.

　　Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

　　Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.
