A faith-based organization is in search of a Volunteer Coordinator to provide basic clerical support to the administrative office.This position will assist with event planning, development, social media outreach, coordinating volunteer opportunities and recruiting when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Greet visitors and direct them to other staff as needed.Answer multiline phone - answer routine questions, handle occasional crisis phone calls, make appropriate referrals, take accurate messages.Receive donations, write receipts, and see that donations are distributed appropriately.Maintain volunteer records and produce reports as requested.Organizing volunteer appreciation activities and events.Interview and inform volunteers, recruiting and training, when necessary.Organize church outreach opportunities.Oversee and schedule volunteer opportunities in coordination with appropriate staff.Other job-related tasksThis is a full-time position, Monday -Friday, 9am-5pm with pay starting at $17.50-$20/HR depending on experience.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year previous office experienceExperience in recruiting volunteers and facilitating volunteer training and involvementExperience creating signage, posters, flyers and brochures.Must be able to use social media in a professional manner.Must be familiar with using a multiline phone system.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.Must be able to lift 30lbs.Applicants never pay fees when applying with or working for TDL Staffing
