　　Seeking a Staff PCIe Validation Engineer to work on the next generation of Micron's SSD controllers as part of a highly skilled team. You should be highly motivated, self-directed, have a positive demeanor, work well independently and as part of a team.

　　Responsibilities and Tasks include the following, but not limited to:

　　PCIe validation for in-house developed SSD drive with variety of host systems for all Gen speeds

　　Build test scripts for all validation purposes – Link disable/enable, Speed change, all kinds of Resets

　　Implement PCIe compliance tests, lane margining and measure eye diagram

　　Analyze PCIe test failures with Protocol Analyzer and Oscilloscope, and point out the issues

　　Communicate PCIe IP vendor and FW team for failure symptom, root cause analysis, implement action items

　　Build test FW code to dump internal registers in snapshot and continuous mode

　　Build scripts to program Host system to create various test workload

　　Successful Candidate For This Position Will Have:

　　5+ years of PCIe protocol (Gen3, Gen4, Gen5), PCIe Host systems, PCIe validation and Bring-up.

　　Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field but Master's degree preferred

　　Strong proven understanding with PCIe/NVME standards.

　　Good understanding PCIe Link equalization algorithm, SerDes design, and protocol analyzer dump

　　Good understanding and working knowledge in PCIE/NVME Driver programming across different Host and OS

　　Strong Working experience in setup and Debugging of lab equipment. ( Exerciser / Protocol Analyzer / Oscilloscopes)

　　Good understanding in pre-silicon environments (Verification, FPGA board, Emulation)

　　Good experience in C programming coding and debugging.

　　Experience in any scripting languages such as Perl/Python/Bash etc.. is a plus

　　High problem solving skills, streamlined process approach and highly motivated

　　The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

　　$122,000.00 - $256,000.00

　　Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
