Voith Paper is hiring for:E&I Maintenance Technician Shreveport, LA Summary: The E&I MaintenanceTechnician will be responsible for troubleshooting and servicing allproduction and support equipment within the facility. This position willwork closely with the mechanical maintenance team to provide operationsand facility support. Responsibilities: Responsible for theinstallation, inspection, and calibration of industrial control systemsand power distribution systems. Responsible for performing preventive,emergency and routine maintenance of electrical systems,instrumentation, and industrial machinery. Maintain equipment filesincluding maintenance logs, manuals, and blueprints. Direct effortsbased on CMMS work order & preventive maintenance schedules. Managerequests from department supervisors as needed to maintain facilityefficiency. Provide direction, oversight, and inspection of workprovided by third party contractors. Maintain equipment to OEM/Voithstandards for performance, reliability, and safety. Be familiar with andobey all OSHA and Voith safety regulations. Participate in rotatingon-call duty schedule. Required Skills/Abilities: Proficiency inelectrical circuits 600V and less for troubleshooting and repair.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanicalsystems. Ability to read and understand machine operation and technicalmanuals. Clearly communicate information both verbally and in writingExperience with electric motors, drives, & PLC systems. Education andExperience: Experience as E&I Technician or Industrial Electrician in amanufacturing environmentOR Associate degree or higher in IndustrialElectronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Relevant military training will also be consideredOR Candidates intraining with demonstrated knowledge and experience capable ofperforming listed responsibilities will also be considered.
