　　Summary of Responsibilities

　　The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State Universityinvites applications for a full-time, 9-month position in Economics(ECON). This is a non-tenure positions require a masters or Ph.D. degreein Economics or a related field. With outstanding undergraduate andgraduate programs, the Department of Economics at Wichita State is hometo excellent students. The W. Frank Barton School of Business at WichitaState University is an AACSB-accredited business school, recognized forits innovative curriculum, distinguished faculty, and pioneeringresearch.

　　The position also requires a record of consistent and strong teachingsuccess in Economics. The Department seeks individuals who can work withdiverse students and colleagues and who have experience with a varietyof teaching methods and curricular perspectives, including teaching froman online platform. The teaching load will consist of 12 credit hours ofcourses each semester.

　　Mainly teach required and elective classes for the Economics program(which includes but not limited to Principles of Microeconomics,Principles of Macroeconomics, and Introduction to Business Statistics).

　　Candidates will teach both face to face and other instructionalmodalities (online, blended) and engage with the local businesses andthe larger community to provide applied learning opportunities for thestudents

　　Candidates are expected to engage in different service activities at thedepartment, college, university, profession, and local community.
