　　Maintain a plant culture that compliments and reflects themission/vision of BG Products and its Operations. Understanding,meeting, or exceeding all internal/external customer needs striving tocreate a streamlined and efficient operation that supports all functionsof a manufacturing operation. Identify areas of improvement,opportunities for growth, development, and innovation; set standards andstrive to improve them. Communicate in an effective and timely manner;Coordinate with the Assistant Plant Manager in resolving plant issues.

　　Duties & Responsibilities

　　Leads by example to achieve BGs vision and Core Values.

　　Adheres to company polices and presents a professional, positiveattitude at all times.

　　Supervise the direct processing of materials and the associated hourlyworkforce to ensure attainment of key business results in areas ofSafety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery to our Internal and ExternalCustomers.

　　Assist the Assistant Plant Manager to direct and coordinate plantoperations to meet customer demand in accordance with our Mission/Visionstatement and company policies

　　Manage conflict and effect resolution to technical and personnelchallenges is key along with openness to change and the ability toeffect positive change.

　　Collaborate with team members in the identification and implementationof continuous improvement initiatives and action plans.

　　Assist in developing and managing budget for respective department.

　　Support activities in the areas of cost containment, efficiency,productivity, energy conservation, waste minimization, operationalexcellence and lean practices.

　　Demonstrate integrity, credibility and flexibility in their dailyperformance so as to motivate others to do the same.

　　Assure compliance with safety, environmental practices, ISO, and SOPs inthe work area.

　　Participate in external/internal audits and inspections.

　　Initiate the investigation when a quality or safety event occurs duringthe shift.

　　Work with members from Quality, Maintenance, Blending, and Technology toproperly handle unplanned events

　　Ensure that corrective actions are implemented.

　　Ensure that personnel under his/her supervision are properly trained inprocedures, good documentation practices and regulatory matters.

　　Participate in design and implementation of training and developmentprograms.

　　Perform performance management and disciplinary process.

　　Ensure materials receiving and verification in the work area, equipmentcleaning, set-up and area cleaning and verification are completedaccording to procedures.

　　Assure that materials are properly handled and equipment is properlyoperated according to SOPs, guidelines, and regulations.

　　Maintain control of processes and product quality by ensuring compliancewith ISO, safety and environmental regulations.

　　Monitor the manufacturing processes during the shift.

　　Other duties as assigned
