　　Jordan Health is now seeking aVIETNAMESE INTERPRETER (Brown Square Center)to minimize barriers to health care for all patients.

　　The Vietnamese Interpreter will:

　　· Assist patients for whom language is a significant barrier and utilizes In Demand Interpreting services for those languages not represented by our employed interpreter staff.

　　· Serve as a liaison and cultural broker between health center staff and patients.

　　· Facilitate access to health care services for all patients best served by a language other than English.

　　Requirements

　　Required Qualifications:

　　· High School Diploma or equivalent is required

　　· One year of directly related experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred

　　· Fluent language proficiency in English and language specific to clinic needs

　　· Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages is preferred

　　· Experience working in a position requiring customer interaction

　　Skills and Knowledge Required:

　　· Computer skills highly desirable

　　· Strong customer service and communication skills

　　· Proficiency in English and native (first) language

　　Salary Description

　　$15.24-$16.17/HOURLY
