Role Summary:
As a Workday Compensation / Time & Absence Lead Architect, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the governance, architecture, and execution of Workday projects. This multifaceted position requires you to act as a technical leader, bridging the gap between business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. In this key role, you will spearhead the end-to-end delivery and adoption of high-quality HR technology solutions, emphasizing your expertise in leading Release Management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serves as an in-house Subject Matter Expert mainly on Workday Compensation, Absence and Time Tracking. Experience in Benefits and Payroll is also valuable.Translates business needs into requirements and recommend appropriate configurations, business rules, and business process workflows in Workday.Lead, coordinate and participate of all configuration and testing activities.With minimal guidance, leads short- and mid-term projects that require the application of independent judgementSupports semi-annual Workday releases in regression testing and review of changes that will impact current business processes. Evaluate new features/functions for rollout to end-users and recommend solutions/alternatives to better automate processes.Stays informed of new functionality and an understanding of Workday's future roadmap and alignment to BlackRock HR strategy.Provides production support including analysis and troubleshooting of issues related to configuration, business process, integrations, data or other systems issues.Ensures that defined application and change controls are maintained and followed.

Strong intellectual curiosity and enjoys problem solvingStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong ability to translate complex technical details into user-friendly, consumable conceptsThrives in fast -paced and collaborative environmentAbility to manage complex work within tight deadlinesStrong analytical skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to manipulate and validate large batches of data in MS Excel, Access or SQLGood understanding of HR services and processesExperience supporting and/or maintaining one or more HR systems preferably Workday for Compensation, Absence and Time TrackingExperience working with geographically distributed teams (e.g. working with global teams)Experience in a professional services environment, financial services or consulting experience a plus.
Qualifications:
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.Minimum 6 years' experience configuring and testing Workday solutions.Workday Certifications would be a plus.
