Partnering with the Executive VP for Academic Affairs, the VP for Student Engagement and Success, and the AVP Human Resources, the VPEB builds bridges to advance education, training, and professional development for faculty, staff, students, and administrators around issues of diversity, inclusion, belonging, identity, anti-racism, social justice, and equity. The VPEB collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and administrators to identify and change inequitable systems and structures through policy revision, strategy development, and training. This position serves as key advisor to and thought partner with the President on strategies to advance diversity, inclusion, equity, anti-racism, and belonging across the university. The VPEB also supervises the staff within the Office of Equity and Belonging.
