　　Wolfspeed’s Global Epi Team is seeking a Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician. This person will be responsible for performing equipment start-up, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance on production and R&D systems. This role will interact directly with equipment engineering, process engineering, and other groups to meet Wolfspeed goals. This person will be responsible for a diverse mixture of actives with a strong emphasis on hands-on mechanical assembly, high-vacuum systems and electrical work.

　　The Day-to-Day: 

　　Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications Perform electro-mechanical root-cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc. Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checks Work with equipment and process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications Modify equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance (as needed) Monitor and annotate tool readings to further improve operations Learn and embody safe work practices that are used throughout the facility Assist in chemical changes under supervision  

　　This Job is Right for You if You Have: Receive VETSTEP training Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety warning labels, schematics, and maintenance manuals Are passionate about safe work practices Organized, neat, detail-oriented, conscientious, and thorough Excellent communication skills, both written and oral PC experience – MS Word, Excel, Access Must Possess a HS degree, GED, or equivalent  Must be physically able to lift to waist level and carry up to 40 pounds Must be physically able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and crawl to reach work
