Veterinary Practice Manager

　　Toronto, ON

　　Secord Animal Hospital has an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary client service professional to join our leadership team as our Hospital Manager .

　　In collaboration and with guidance from our field leadership, the Hospital Manager you will champion a variety of administrative duties related to the operations of our veterinary hospital. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing leadership and development for a multi-faceted team, who delivers a high level of veterinary services to our patients and pet owners. Some of the key attributes and responsibilities for this role include:

　　Customer service excellence, with prior personnel management experience (minimum 2-3 years of years)

　　Human Resource Management: fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Scheduling staff, document control, filing, various reporting, and coordinating office services (equipment/supplies/forms/procedures)

　　Team Leadership and Guidance: fostering people relationships, providing coaching opportunities, towards the goal of quality patient care and excellent client service

　　Communication excellence; working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

　　Operational Management: contribute objectives and efficiencies for profitable hospital operations, streamlining processes, and optimizing workflow.

　　Oversee the hiring, reviewing, disciplining, and terminating of professional staff, under and with the approval of the Regional Management team.

　　Financial management; in collaboration with the medical leadership; including inventory management

　　Positively represent the hospital and VCA in the professional community and to the public.
