Job Overview:

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technical program

Surgical Tech Certification Required

Preferred:

N/A

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

Current BLS required (American Heart Association)

Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Essential Functions:

Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.

Ensure patient s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
