　　Amazon's Prime UX team is at the heart of the Prime membership loved by millions of members globally. We invent and design on behalf of our customers, and are always looking to raise the bar on the membership experience as we continue to delight our customers around the world.

　　To help us achieve our vision, Prime UX Design is seeking a talented, passionate UX Manager to help define and improve the Prime member experience. We are looking for a strong design leader to join our growing design team and play a significant role in this exciting evolution of Prime. This person will partner with our Sr. Design and Research managers, Product, Marketing, Branding, and Tech partners, to help drive compelling customer experiences for Amazon.

The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to focus on big experience initiatives at the same time as crucial details. They are comfortable presenting and articulating design reasoning with data to directors and stakeholder teams, and working through implementation details with tech teams.



　　Key job responsibilities

　　Manage and creatively lead a team of UX designers to define and deliver end to end Prime member experiences

　　Define, develop and socialize a clear vision for design innovation and big thinking while not sacrificing speed of delivery

　　Work cross-functionally to drive elegant design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration

　　Use data and customer insights to confidently defend design solutions with senior leaders

　　Lead brainstorming and critique sessions that foster big thinking while raising the bar on the details

　　Bring deep expertise in UX design (frameworks, interaction models, prototypes, research), helping team members weigh the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and seeking input where needed to drive alignment.

　　Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions from your team that scale

　　Hire, coach, and support a multi-disciplinary design team; act as a role model, mentor, and motivator in creating a diverse and inclusive working environment.

　　Develop processes and identify opportunities for improvements that drive quality and efficiency to help the team accomplish more than what they could otherwise.

　　About the team

　　Prime UX is a team made up of three UX capabilities: research, design, and writing. We partner with design, business, and engineering teams within Prime and across Amazon to create and influence exceptional customer experiences that make Prime the worlds most engaged, satisfying, and loved membership program on Earth. We are the bar raisers and champions of the end-to-end Prime CX on-and-off-site. As stewards of the Prime CX, we own, develop, and implement generative customer research and design thinking mechanisms that scale our UX thinking across Amazon teams and organizations.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　6+ years of design experience

　　3+ years of leading design teams experience

　　Experience managing teams

　　Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing

　　Experience with agile/scrum

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
