JOB REQUIREMENTS: HealthPartners Hudson Urgent Care Clinic in Hudson,Wisconsin, is looking for an Advanced Practice Clinician 20 - 32hours/week. Shifts will be evening and weekend hours. Employment isthrough the HealthPartners Clinic in Stillwater, Minnesota, with primarylocation at Hudson, and will work at other HealthPartners Clinic UrgentCare sites in the St. Croix Valley (Stillwater, MN, Westfields in NewRichmond, WI and Amery, WI) The Advanced Practice Clinician (NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant) provides health care services inthe clinic setting to department-specific patients. This may include theprovision of primary and preventive healthcare services as well as carefor acute illness and injury. The NP/PA administers patient care andpractices prescriptive authority in accordance with Minnesota State Lawand the standards set by the Board of Directors of Stillwater MedicalGroup. The NP/PA will work closely with all physicians in the Departmentin order to ensure continuity of care and will be assigned a physicianmentor who will be available to the NP/PA for consultation on clinicaland patient care issues. The NP/PA routinely interacts with patients andcustomers of the Stillwater Medical Group and will demonstrate acommitment to quality patient care and service and will support theshort and long term mission, goals and objectives of the StillwaterMedical Group. The NP/PA may be required to participate and share dutiessuch as weekend hours and call responsibility as well as other duties asassigned. Requirements are representative of minimum levels ofknowledge, skills, and/or abilities. Minimum of two years previousexperience working in an ambulatory care setting in Family Medicine asan Advanced Practice Clinician or one year previous experience workingin an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting as an Advanced PracticeClinician. Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program andcompletion of Masters of Science Degree in Nursing - OR - Graduate ofAMA accredited physician assistant program. Current Minnesota license asa Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse by theMinnesota and Wisconsin State Boards of Nursing - OR Current license asa Physician Assistant by the Minnesota and Wisconsin Boards of MedicalPractice Certification as a Specialized Nurse Practitioner by theNational Certification Board of the specialization - OR - Certified bythe National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants CurrentDEA License. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
