RESPONSIBILITY: Receives calls and visitors at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs to destination. Responsible for various department clerical functions, including maintaining temporary associate placements, while upholding a high level of confidentiality.
JOB DUTIES:
Operates telephone console to receive incoming calls and uses the Company’s paging system.
Ensure each visitor signs in with necessary information and issues any pass and/or eye/ear protection as needed.
Keep records of past and current temps as well as all open orders. Distribute a weekly list of all current temps and temps hired on to all supervisors.
Work closely with Staffing Agency on temporary associate needs.
Enter/scan training records, certifications, and personnel documents into the AS400. Maintain and track the database, as well as training files for internal and external education/training.
Work closely and assist HRT in routine recruiting tasks such as greeting applicants and providing them with interviewing paperwork, creating new employee files, posting jobs on communication board TV, and onboarding support to include preparing new hire packets and creating new employee files.
Maintain logs via spreadsheets for temps, applicants, lockers, etc.
Maintain and create slides for the Company’s communication board TV.
Schedules meetings, trainings, and other internal appointments as needed.
Work with HRT to plan, coordinate, and prepare for annual Company Event, raffles, and monthly employee engagement.
EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one (1) year related experience preferred.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
AS400 experience a plus.
