　　Summary:

　　Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager designee, assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation of the activities occurring in the nursing station by performing clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area.

　　Responsibilities:

　　EDUCATION

　　High School graduate.

　　Successful completion of medical terminology course or unit clerk/secretarial course is required within six (6) months of start date in position.

　　KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

　　Typing skills required.

　　Computer literate.

　　Must be able to communicate on all levels of the hospital, including medical staff.

　　WORKING CONDITIONS

　　ENVIRONMENT

　　Normal heat, light, space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs.
