Truck Shop Manager

This position will be responsible for managing truck shop activities which would include leading of other employees while understanding operations efficiencies and general procedures.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that all employees are working safely and following PPC safety policies and procedures

Maintain repair records and preventive maintenance programs on all equipment

Train and update training on all employees to provide high quality repairs to all Pilgrim's Pride rolling stock

Provide positive people oriented work environment designed to improve skills, build morale and reduce turnover

Operate within the guidelines of environmental laws and regulations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office programs); SAP experience preferred

Must have effective oral and written skills

Self-motivated and ability to work well with others

Adherence to regulations and company policies

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but would consider a combination of education and work experience.
