　　Department: UCH Investigational Drug Prgrm

　　FTE: 1.0, 80 hours/pay period (2 weeks), Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

　　Shift: Days

　　Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

　　Requirements:

　　Minimum 2 year experience as a pharmacy technician (if transferring within UCHealth, minimum 6 months in current position/role)

　　PHAT Licensure with Colorado State Board of Pharmacy

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Preferred:

　　HD and non-HD sterile compounding experience

　　Investigational Drug Service experience

　　Summary:

　　The IDS Specialist position will be primarily responsible for IV admixture of Investigational Products (HD and non-HD)as well as will have responsibility for handling of investigational agents, formulary management, pyxis space and expiration management, ordering, shipping and receiving of investigational products, drug return management, drug dispensation, as well as face to face (monitoring visits), and electronic (e-mail) communications.

　　We're looking for an incredibly detail orientated, dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must!

　　Responsibilities:

　　Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

　　Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

　　Repackages bulk medications.

　　May be responsible for sterile and non-sterile compounding

　　Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
