Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Training Coordinator in the construction industry, based in Avon, Minnesota. As a Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring company-wide training initiatives. Your role will be critical in supporting our organization's talent development strategies and maintaining training requirements for various programs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the coordination and monitoring of company-wide training initiatives, ensuring training records are up-to-date and communication about training progress is clear and timely.
• Organize and host training events in support of our organization's talent development strategies.
• Coordinate the educational opportunities offered throughout the organization while ensuring compliance with training requirements for those programs.
• Maintain an electronic database of employee training and certifications, and support training events as needed.
• Enter and maintain records of employee training related to certifications/licenses in HRIS or other requested database.
• Monitor and report on completed training, working with employees to renew their certifications as needed.
• Track, maintain, and purchase training materials from outside vendors, coordinating both in-person and virtual training events.
• Assist with the coordination of training sessions, ensuring they remain on schedule.
• Maintain training materials including binders, kits, and digital resources, distributing these to personnel as required.
• Provide stakeholders with information and insights on various topics to assist with their evaluation and decision-making processes.
• Register participants for outside training programs, and track and report on training evaluations. Requirements • Must possess strong proficiency in Database management
• Skilled user of Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to ensure Compliance with industry standards
• Prior experience in Customer Service roles
• Proven experience in Employee Training
• Familiarity with Online training platforms and methods
• Experience in Training Development within the construction/contractor industry
• Ability to design and implement Training Courses
• Experience in conducting effective Training Sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
• Understanding of construction/contractor industry standards and regulations.
