  JOB OVERVIEW

  You’ll be at the heart of our production center, helping millions of customers across the world enjoy Hallmark products. You will have a variety of duties that support the production process in numerous ways. You’ll be cross-trained across multiple departments by a support team of trainers and supervisors to help you learn every step of the way!

  SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

  Your starting pay will be between $26.20 - $31.28 depending on your skills and experience.

  This position is a full-time, 5-day work week position in the 1st shift (7:30pm – 4:00pm) from Monday through Friday.

  THE RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH

  You will join a diverse team who enjoys fast-paced work. Our teams have physical stamina, an eye for detail, and are reliable to get the job done. You will be trained to support production across different work areas in our facility. Some of your duties may include:

  You will prepare, operate and maintain various types of equipment to make proofs and tooling.

  You will observe milling machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with the specified tolerances and quality standards.

  You will maintain and correct any variances found by utilizing a variety of hand tools, such as shears, saws, grinders, and micrometers.

  You will operate computer systems and software programs to set up equipment (CNC mills, wastewater treatment tanks, auto-benders, Carveco, etc...) efficiently, and maintain production rates.

  You will troubleshoot problems and perform quality checks of incoming files and tooling materials.

  You will work closely with internal and external partners for troubleshooting, software updates, and maintenance.

  Important things to know:

  Flexibility is key as you will assist with all aspects of the different assignments across departments.

  In the production areas there is some noise. Hearing protection is provided by Hallmark.

  Overtime is available and will be covered during the interview process.

  A color perception test will be scheduled at the time of the interview.

  YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  Basic Qualifications

  You’re at least 18 years of age

  You have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  You have the ability to pass a color perception test

  You have the ability to constantly stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level

  You have the ability to grasp, lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally

  Preferred Qualifications

  Previous machine operating, pre-production, or Tooling experience

  Previous Milling or CNC operating experience, and/or relevant certifications

  Strong communication- and problem-solving skills
