ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Issues tools, tool kits, and equipment to workers. Maintains records oftools and equipment issued and returned. Reorders lost or misplacedtools and equipment. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of insert types andtooling used in machining operations. Makes recommendations forappropriate and cost effective tooling options. Prepares periodicinventory and maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment. Requisitionsstock to replenish inventory. Inspects tools and equipment for defectsor wear and reports concerns to supervisors. Keeps tool storage areasufficiently stocked, well organized, and efficient. Marks andidentifies tools and equipment. Sharpens used drill bits to usablespecifications. Establishes guidelines for jobs and tasks that need tobe performed by the second shift attendant. Executes continuousimprovement and cost reduction initiatives. Proceeds under generalsupervision. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with AcePrecision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern toolcrib operations. Maintains or exceeds production standards throughefficient organization and planning. Follows and complies with safetypolicies and procedures. Accurately completes all requireddocumentation. Meets attendance policy requirements. Contributes to teameffort by assisting in areas as needed.
