Dr. Joel T. Gabre is a Gastroenterologist and GI Cancer Genetics Specialist and investigator at Columbia University Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Gabre Lab studies all aspects of gastroesophageal biology from development to cancer. We are currently recruiting a post-doctoral fellow interested in understanding gastroesophageal intestinal metaplasia and how it progresses to cancer. We are also interested in precision medicine strategies in gastroesophageal cancer. We use classic molecular and cell biology techniques and novel 3D organoid platforms.
