Minimum EducationEducation:ADN or BSN RequiredMSN Preferred
Required SkillsLicenses:Registered Nurse in State of KYCertifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Handle with Care to be received within 30 days of orientation and kept annually.Detail orientedSound decision makingCritical thinking skillsActive listening skillsClear and persuasive communication skills among all levels and audiencesProficient utilizing computer software (databases and electronic medical records)Ability to use discretion, good judgement and maintain patient confidentialityIdentify through utilizing software, those patients that are overdue for follow up of pulmonary nodules and/or Lung Cancer ScreeningWork to resolve the identified patients for follow up, update and document in the software and communicate the same to ordering providersMaintain open communication with all ordering providers (PCP’s, ARNP’s, PA’s, Pulmonologist, etc.Identify RAD 4 patients for Tumor Board presentationAbility to access, plan, intervene and evaluate the physical, emotional and educational needs ofpatients.Ability to anticipate change and react accordinglyAbility to work efficiently both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.
Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum two years of clinical or non-clinical healthcare related experience.Experience in Oncology preferred
