POSITION SUMMARY
The Education Manager role is responsible for strategically delivering the UK&IE Education Strategy across all channels (online offline) and ultimately driving sales for TOM FORD BEAUTY & BALMAIN BEAUTY. The role requires working with internal and external stakeholders in order to execute the Brand’s Education strategy
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
Deliver in-field brand, retail, and experience education nationally for both brands
Assess, mentor & certify Specialists/ Beauty Advisors
To design and deliver industry leading education programs including producing local content if required
Partner with retailers to execute education-led events (fragrance conferences, masterclasses etc.) and ensure all events are carried out to the brand equity standards and guidelines.
Support new product launches for all Brands
To plan, execute and host live social events
Manage the UK digital education platforms designing and uploading assets and resources, writing and publishing communication to the network via Workplace
Work with Global teams to understand the latest education offering, regional insights, services, best practices, etc.
Confidently collaborate with the Sales & Education Director to ensure sales strategies and new launches are executed to meet or exceed targets.
Brand spokesperson and event facilitator for press/influencer/client events.
Organise & facilitate highly interactive Seasonal schools & induction seminars across both brands.
Attend all Global Train the Trainer trainings and cascade to UK&IE Region teams.
Work with marketing teams to produce UK relevant content for social channels eg IG reels, IG lives.
Analyse business results of flagship doors and support team to develop, execute and follow up strategies; determine underlying causes for performance deficits and recommend corrective action.
Lead and Partner with Area Managers, Retail Experience Ambassadors & Business Managers to ensure successful execution of at-counter events/promo sites.
Implement E-Learning for all Specialists / Beauty Advisors
Develop and evolve Workplace as a platform to engage, develop and drive the experts and sales.
Elevate REA skillset and Area Managers across teams to ensure the highest standards of service and customer experiences are met.
Identification and development of key experts to act as internal and external influencers globally.
Work with Global team on the launch of Balmain Beauty into the UK&IE region – implementing training schedule & supporting in recruitment of top talent in the UK&IE.
Budget management responsibility
Line management responsibility of Education Assistant Manager and an Apprentice.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE
The candidate should have multiple years of related experience in the cosmetic industry, retail sales, education development/research or team training, high touch service and instructional design
Experience using and creating content with learning technology, such as eLearning development software, virtual classrooms and/or learning management systems is preferred
Candidates must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Outstanding computer skills are a must, including MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint.
Requires a strategic and resourceful thinker and a creative writing talent
