Description:
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team as we specialize in stainless pipe and headers. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding stainless steel pipe and headers using the TIG welding process.
Weekly pay!
The working hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the overtime on Fridays.
Must be able to pass a stainless 6G pipe test.
Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipes, headers and other heat exchanger components in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including power sources, torches, and filler rods.
Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and fitting pieces as required.
Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet visual and quality requirements.
Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve welding-related issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of welding equipment.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a TIG Welder, specializing in stainless pipe and headers.
Proficiency in the 6G position.
Thorough understanding of TIG welding techniques, equipment, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform welding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.
Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS) preferred.
