Technical Manager
Using learning management systems (e.g., TRAIN, Moodle, Rise,) to develop, facilitate and deliver online training in close collaboration with Instructional Designer/Content Manager.
Create or update course pages, web pages, posts, and online calendar(s)
Manage training registration for virtual, hybrid and live trainings
Instruct subject matter experts in course delivery and use of technology
Act as point of contact to shepherd students through courses, Learning Management Systems, other technical aspects of courses
Training Delivery
Deliver virtual and hybrid trainings
Research and pilot new training modalities such as podcasts and webinars/web meetings
Create and curate a video archiving platform for the two training centers
Community Engagement
Promote trainings and activities at New England public health meetings and conferences
Engage with local public health groups as-needed on their learning platforms and technical needs
Data Collection and Reporting
Collect data from learning management systems and online analytics required for reporting
Clean data and present in form suitable for task
Enter into online databases as needed
Support
Support the Training Centers with technical assistance not mentioned aboveRequired Skills
Bachelor’s level degree
At least three-years experience in the workplace
Background in education, computer science, data analytics, programming, development of applications
Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
