HOW YOU WILL DO IT PurposeStatement: Responsible for operating production test equipment,troubleshoot and repair defective products, maintain test equipment,monitor test performance and yield information, and provide technicalsupport to other focus factory personnel. Key Job Accountabilities:Identify and review failure trend information and support/implementsolutions with the Test, Manufacturing, and/or Quality Engineer team toimprove the product yield through the test process. Drive defectinformation to other test and inspection points to capture earlier inthe process. Actively listen and respond to the needs of internalcustomers, actively participate as a member of the sector team in orderto support external customer satisfaction. Contribute to the sector teamby providing the technical leadership at the product level, utilizingstrong communication skills to secure optimal effectiveness in allaspects of the testing area. Operate test equipment (may include flyingprobe, In-circuit, functional) on a daily basis. Support bothpreventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal down time of thetest equipment. May also be trained to perform basic level solder repairto reduce the turnaround time of the repair.
