　　Swenson Technology, Inc., an industry recognized leader in the process equipment used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and waste reduction industries to convert liquids into solids is seeking a Test Center Chemist.

　　SWENSON Test Center Chemist

　　The Test Center Chemist responsibilities include:

　　· Determine and perform analytical methods for quantitative analysis of samples using a variety of techniques and instruments.

　　· Select and install equipment and may design apparatus for specialized experiments.

　　· Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

　　· Write operating procedures and recommend new procedures and test methods.

　　· Make appropriate entries into instrument logs, control charts, calibration records, databases, etc.

　　· Prepare reagents, solutions, equipment and materials used in experiments.

　　· Maintain chemical inventories, keep records of supplies, materials and equipment, prepare requisitions as needed.

　　· Dispose of chemicals according to guidelines.

　　· Perform all work safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and Company standards.

　　· Provide training and/or technical guidance to other staff.

　　Job Requirements:

　　· Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.

　　· 5+ years experience with analytical chemistry laboratory equipment and procedures.

　　· Ability to work independently.

　　· Must be effective in problem solving and troubleshooting.

　　· Ability to occasionally work weekends or odd hours as required by specific projects.

　　· Willingness to work in close proximity to potentially harmful chemicals and equipment.

　　· Able to perform physical duties such as, but not limited to, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, climbing and walking.
