You will drive the sales performance of General Industry, Robotics & Discrete Automation Industries, participating in sales strategy discussions, assigning goals and negotiating sales budgets and marketing plans.You will be responsible for covering the non Key Account Industrial Robotics customers in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey for ABB Robotics Division.

Your responsibilitiesTerritory sales and business development responsibility for the Robotics Division's General Industry and Consumer Segment / Service Robotics businesses and ABB Robotics overall Market ShareThe overall responsibility is to generate and follow up on robot and robot systems leads and develop ABB's business with end customers and System Integrators for robotic products, systems and servicesDevelop and implement plan to penetrate target list of end customers in the territorySubmit complete and accurate proposal and forecast informationUtilize value base selling techniques with customers and demonstrate ROI (Return on investment) sales approach to key customersYour backgroundHigh School Diploma or GED and minimum 9 years of relevant sales experience ORAssociate's Degree and minimum 7 years of relevant sales experience ORBachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of sales experienceExperience in selling automation, preferably robots and robotic automation systems for a variety of applicationsAbility to professionally and technically represent ABB in front of customers from Management to LaborProven ability to develop and maintain large and small customer accountsProven in a matrix sales organization and ability to work autonomousReadiness to do what it takes to develop a customer base, including cold calls if necessaryPC proficiency to include MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as CRM tools.
