  Job Description:

  This is technical services work in performing difficult and moderately complex engineering duties in a variety of field and office engineering specialties as it relates to project delivery and acceptance. Supervision is exercised over subordinate technical personnel performing moderately complex tasks.

  The main responsibility of this position will be supporting the Interstate construction team with estimating, construction inspection duties, as well as reviewing and preparing bid documents for the Regional Program.

  To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

  Five (5) years of experience in engineering –OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.

  Retirement Plan – The State of Maine contributes 13.41% for MSEA positions and18.21% for Confidentialpositions, of employee’s pay to the Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS), on behalf of the employee.

  Gym Membership Reimbursement – Improve overall health with regular exercise and receive up to $40 per month to offset this expense.

  Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts – Set aside money pre-tax to help pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses and/or daycare expenses.
