  Your Role and Responsibilities

  Deliver technical support services to IBM customers and business partners through problem determination / trouble shooting and root cause analysis skillsBe the voice of the customer and facilitate the resolution of customer issues through coordination of efforts amongst IBM's internal teams (Client Advocates, CloudOps, DevOps, Product Development, Product Management and Sales)Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.Install and maintain virtual servers, software, to replicate customer reported issues.Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, reported issues, and completed solutions.Develop training technical notes and troubleshooting procedures to help customer's support personnel interact properly with software.Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.Customer facing role which includes rotational shifts, a Non-Standard Work Week (Weekly Offs may not be on Saturdays / Sundays).

  Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  At least 3 years' experience in Databases e.g., DB2, MS SQL, Oracle At least 1 year experience in web deployment, CGI applications and servlets Ability to work well under pressure Knowledge of Databases, Analytic Applications or web servers. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.

  Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  Previous experience with Cognos TM1, IBM Planning Analytics, or equivalent (e.g., Anaplan, Tagetek) Previous experience with Cognos Analytics (Business Intelligence) or equivalent (Tableau, PowerBI) Experience with OLAP, cubes and data warehousing Application tier technologies Web tier technologies Cloud providers and underlying technologies (e.g., IBM, AWS, Azure, Orchestration software) Network administration Container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) Knowledge of accounting or Finance, especially financial budgeting modeling processes Agile methodologies Strong troubleshooting communication skills Demonstrated organization and time management skills Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Must be self-motivated and disciplined Ability to recognize and prioritize critical tasks independently
