Reference #: REQ325937The Technical Services Engineer will perform various installation, repair and preventive maintenance within the assigned account.
The Technical Services Engineer will perform installation, repair and preventive maintenance of all equipment and components within the Building Automation System (BAS), ensuring reliable and efficient Buildings, Building Systems and equipment within the account.
The Technical Services Engineer will execute Quality control audits and inspections conducted throughout the assigned account and deficiency reports provided to supervisors and managers.
The Technical Services Engineer will provide technical assistance, training and support in advanced building operations, troubleshooting, and hands-on repair guidance and demonstration in support of teams within the assigned account.

Ability to understand and use proper PPE for associated tasks
Evaluate, train, teach and coach a work force of Operating Engineers, Facility Engineers, General Maintenance Technicians as requested by supervisors.
Highly skilled and competent to complete required repairs and maintenance on commercial Building and Building Systems (including but not limited to: Building Automation (BAS), HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Vertical Transportation, Life Safety, Roofs, Structure, Parking lots and roads) using industry standard tools and in accordance with all codes, laws, and regulations
Will serve as Subject Matter Expert in field Building Automation / Building Controls.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Must have Niagara AX and N4 certifications along with Distech Controls Integration
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesHigh School diploma or GED equivalent
Vocational degree program, apprenticeship.
7 - 10 Years Trade
3 - 5 Years Engineering
Applicable codes, laws and regulations
Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including use of Microsoft Office Suite)
Skill in use of the internet to navigate to and use web-based applications.
Ability to use handheld electronic devices (PDA, Blackberry, cell phone, etc.)
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to create, modify and edit processes, procedures and reports.
Niagara AX and N4 certifications along with Distech Controls Integration
