Summary This position is located at Seward Military Resort. Approximate dates of employment are 15 May - 15 September 2024. Housing may be provided on a space available basis. Responsibilities Checks front desk accounting records for accuracy, and, on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front desk operating statistics. Prepares daily summary of cash, check, and credit card activities reflecting the hotel's financial performance. Post room charges to guest accounts. Processes credit card vouchers. Verifies all account postings and balances made during the day by front desk clerks. Performs duties as desk clerk in terms of check-in/out, and reservations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One year of work experience performing duties similar to those described above. Examples of such duties would be those associated with working as a desk clerk or as an accounting technician. Ability to use a computer for word processing or data entry. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
