Description
SAIC is seeking technical resources to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Supply Chain Modernization program. The focus on this program is modernize and transform process, tools, data, and systems that are used to manage supplies and assets across the Department. These positions will provide a range of services to design, configure, implement, test, secure, accredit, operate, and maintain a modern supply chain management system of systems.
The Technical Program Director will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of technical services, issue and risk management, communication management, and financial management. Leads and coordinates multi-functional (e.g. Engineering, Operations) groups to drive the strategic business goals alignment. Demonstrate a passion for technical details with the ability to ideate and problem solve actively with technology leaders, architects, business, product, and engineering stakeholders. Translates the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex solutions and integrating architecture. May include analysis of transition planning, information requirements, and may develop architecture baselines. Assists with and leads development of integration, migration plans/schedules. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites, and can oversee production of integrated systems. Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience.
Experience managing technical IT projects, with focus on cloud-based systems and system to systems integrations.
Desired:
Knowledge of VA stations and enterprise IT systems.
Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
