Tech Lead, Technical Program Management
As a Software Technical Program Manager at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex software development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, quality assurance, and design, to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software products. Your expertise in project management, technical acumen, and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving our software development projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and initiation of software development projects, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, and quality assurance teams to align project goals and priorities. Ensure effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders. Manage project resources, including software developers, designers, and other team members. Allocate resources effectively and monitor their progress. Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams. Ensure that software development adheres to best practices and industry standards. Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Implement and track quality metrics. Manage changes to project scope and requirements. Assess the impact of changes and make adjustments as necessary. Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation. Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, executive management, and project teams. Communicate project progress, issues, and risks. Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, ensuring that project goals and requirements are clearly understood.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager in software development.
Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
