Central Montana Head Start, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking applications for a Teacher at the Harlowton Center.HOURS: 40 hrs/wk for 9 months, and reduced hours in the summer position.
WAGE: $21.69 to $24.08 per hour
Duties:
This position is responsible for planning, implementing and supervising all classroom/home visit educational activities for children.
Assist with program planning, development, evaluation, and ongoing community relations.
Assist with identification and referral of families and children in need of family services.
Assist with recruitment and enrollment activities.
Assist with determination, provision, and tracking of mental health services for families and children.
Help organize parent involvement activities and provide input into compliance with applicable performance standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education preferred. May consider an associate's degree.
Experience working with young children, low-income families, and Head Start knowledge preferred.
