Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Talent Manager to join our growing team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Talent Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and retaining high-performing employees within the organization. The role involves developing and implementing talent management strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectives. The Talent Manager will be responsible for collaborating with various teams to provide training, coaching, and career development opportunities that enable employees to reach their full potential.
The following essential job functions are performed as a Talent Manager:
Understand the business and is closely aligned with the business leaders.Develop and implement talent management strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectivesCollaborate with various teams to identify and address talent management needsAssist teams with resourcing projects/work based on knowledge of business needs and individual skill setsDevelop and implement employee training and development programs Provide coaching and career development opportunities to employeesIdentify high-performing employees and develop retention strategiesDevelop and implement talent review and succession planning strategiesPartner with the HR team and business on the annual performance review processEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to talent managementMeasure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and make recommendations for improvementsMust be capable of maintaining high level of confidentiality.Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related fieldProven experience as a Talent Manager or in a similar roleIn-depth knowledge of talent management strategies and best practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and project management skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionKnowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to talent managementADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $130,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
