JOB TITLE: MANAGER FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING & REPORTING

　　LOCATION: MUMBAI

　　We are currently seeking a “Manager Financial Accounting and reporting” for India. This position will report Head of Accounts and will be based at Mumbai .

　　Purpose of this Position:

　　This position is to strengthen the portfolio for Financial Accounting and reporting, including the monthly Balance sheet reconciliation, India and US GAAP reconciliation, Sub-ledger reconciliation in Oracle, OPEX management and analysis, monthly expense provision, liasioning with Statutory and Internal Auditor, providing details for Tax assessments etc. This position will also be responsible for calculating costing and pricing of new products, update the costs in system and various margin tracking tools.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Financial Accounting and reporting from Oracle.

　　Generate standard work for various accounting process.

　　Reconciling the GL balances with Subledger and developing an excel tool to standardize the reconciliation process for all Balance sheet accounts.

　　To standardize the monthly reconciliation between US and India GAAP by developing a standard file and automate the process

　　To prepare standard monthly schedules of expense accounts which can be used for Analysis, Tax assessment and management reporting.

　　To develop standard work for costing and pricing of products in oracle and margin calculators.

　　Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

　　5-6 years of post qualification experience with minimum 2-3 years in MNC set-up in similar role

　　Good understanding of accounting fundamentals and their applicability in different types of transactions.

　　Good hands on knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and power point

　　Well versed with Indian Accounting Standards, IFRS, Indian Companies Act

　　Ability to think creatively and self-motivated

　　Good knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle, SAP

　　Skill to manage and train people within function and cross function

　　Good communication skills, both oral and written to interact with all levels of people.

　　Very High in integrity and compliance.

　　Education –

　　Qualified CA OR ICWA

　　MBA from reputed institute/university, CPA from AICPA will be added advantage
