You will have the opportunity to work with other Software Developers, Systems Engineers, Program Managers, Cyber Engineers, Data Scientists, and Customer Engagement team members delivering a wide variety of capabilities to our customers.
The Noblis Solution Delivery Organization (SDO) develops, plans, and delivers emerging solutions ensuring the highest quality products are produced and implemented across a wide variety of federal government customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Participating in the full-system development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
Integrating electronic hardware, sensors, and software for advanced system monitoring and test equipment
Designing, testing, and integrating structural and mechanical hardware
Collaborating with cross-functional teams of software engineers, test engineers, systems engineers, mechanical engineers, production personnel, and project managers
Authoring and contributing to technical project documentation
Creating and maintaining system design models
Occasional travel for testing, installing, or troubleshooting company products at customer sites
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. electrical/computer engineering, systems engineering, aerospace engineering, and mechanical engineering)
Minimum 3 years of design experience
CAD proficiency, Solidworks preferred
Familiarity with systems engineering, including model-based systems engineering (MSBE) & SysML/UML
Experience with or understanding of electromechanical systems and principals
Hands on experience with building and testing hardware/prototypes
Experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters
Motivated Self-Starter
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Proven results-oriented problem-solving abilities. Experience with presentation graphics and/or spreadsheet tools
Experienced in the manufacturing and qualification of hardware, electronics, and electrical cabling
Experience in designing to ASME, IEEE, MIL, and other relevant standards as applicable
Experience with MBSE or requirements modeling tools, e.g., Cameo
Hardware/software integration and troubleshooting experience
Linux Experience
Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments and the re-prioritization of existing assignments

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
