　　Actively drives continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, cost, and delivery.Proactively participates in cross-functional teams.Supports project plans, budgets, line/facility layouts, process sheet development, capacity analyses, and make/buy analyses.Creates tooling and fixture designs, including fabrication, installation and follow-up.Participates in direct and indirect labor analyses, line balancing, flow analysis and process optimization.Demonstrates a good working knowledge and understanding of lean principles and methods.Utilizes Lean-Six Sigma tools to identify and eliminate waste and reduce process variation.Provides manufacturing engineering support to minor and major new product introductions using the PDP process.Performs other related duties as required.REQUIREMENTS

　　B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.3-5+ years experience in engineering or other related areaManufacturing Engineering experience in a manual assembly process environment preferred.Lean-Six Sigma problem solving experience preferred.Must be proficient in MS Office and 3D modeling software preferred.Is a "hands-on", problem-solver with the ability to multi-task several projects and able to maintain the high quality and timeliness of deliverables.Strong communication skills.Want to take the next step in your career?Life Fitness takes pride in our talented employees and believe in providing opportunities for further growth and advancement.
