System /DevOps Engineer

　　This role is part of Aon Impact Forecasting team, a team of scientists, developers and client services colleagues together developing and supporting catastrophe models for various perils including flood, windstorm, earthquake, wildfire or terrorism.

　　We are looking for a person to join our Client Solutions team! We seek an enthusiastic system engineer skilled in DevOps who will work closely with our development team and support applications on Azure cloud.

　　Your main tasks will include:

　　Development and operations of automated pipelines for Azure cloud

　　Deployments and configuration of windows-based applications and system management tools

　　Develop, run and troubleshoot SQL queries

　　Monitoring , maint e n ance and troubleshooting of systems and servers

　　Deployment of service releases, patches, requests and customizations

　　Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management

　　Support cloud-based, web- based and app-based IF software solutions and APIs

　　Cooperation with IT/Security teams to develop robust on-prem, on-cloud and hybrid platforms

　　C ooperation with internal technology teams on implementation of Terraform templates

　　C ooperation with our project teams on regular application releases

　　To apply for this offer, you should have/be:

　　Knowledge of cloud computing principles ( preferably Azure )

　　P revious experience with CI/CD process and IaC ( preferably Terraform )

　　Azure DevOps and GitHub

　　K nowledge of Docker

　　K nowledge of any programing language and willingness to learn others

　　Previous experience with IdP integrations is a plus ( preferably Okta)

　　Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems and security

　　Good communication skills, both verbal and written English, other languages are also welcome ( some Czech is an advantage as the core team is based in Prague)

　　Technical and analytical mindset , willingness to learn new technologies
